In the third quarter of 2025, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Europe showed interesting trends among the top apps. Here's a closer look at the performance of these applications based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride had a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads hovering around 320K to 340K. Despite a slight decline in weekly active users from 9.5M to 9.3M in the early weeks, there was a recovery towards the end, peaking at 9.4M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, initially increasing to over 324K before gradually declining to 232K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users peaking at approximately 23M.
